Bituminous joint fillers are mixtures of bitumen with inorganic and organic fillers. Bituminous joint fillers can be used both on roads, and in filling concrete joints of roads, runways or flooring and pavements.
Several basic rules must be followed before applying a bituminous joint filler. A joint to be filled must be first properly cleaned and consequently treated with a penetration paint.
